Bush hogging is the process of cutting overgrown areas of land clearing it of tall grasses, bushes/shrubs, and smaller trees. Our bush hogging process can clear any land easily, leaving only mulch. However, due to the limitations of equipment, we normally cut trees larger than 8 feet tall using a chainsaw. Depending on the terrain and size of what is being cut, we can normally clear 2+ acres of land per day; grasses and weeds can be cut quicker and large trees will take longer.

Estimate calculator will only give an approximate estimate of how much a project will cost. Several factors may effect the final cost of the project, and these factors may not be accounted for by the calculator. The final cost will be determined after project completion.
1) In the first box, enter the amount of land to be cleared in acres.
2) In the second box, enter a rough estimate of the height of what is being cut (for trees enter the value in feet, for bushes and shrubs enter the number "2", for grass and weeds enter the number "1").
3) In the third box, enter "1" if the land is mostly flat with no obstacles (rocks, stumps, wet spots, potholes, buried objects), enter "2" if the land has moderate terrain and has some obstacles, and enter "3" if the land has a significant amount of rough terrain and lots of obstacles.
4) In the fourth box, if trees are being cut enter a rough estimate of how many trees are present. However, if a mix of small trees (less than 3 foot tall) and bushes/shrubs are being cut enter "2", and if no trees are present enter "1".
5) In the fifth box, enter the distance in miles from 815 Snow Hill Road, Durham, NC 27712, to the address of the land to be cleared.
